This is a wonderful premier inn and located for easy access to all the main routes, especially for Edinburgh.The hotel is nice and peaceful and very family orientated.

The hotel was great- when we eventually got there. Please be aware that the postcode sent by the company does not match the location. Reception informed.

Meal and service great as usual , however when did premier inn starting charging a pound to park for you to eat their and why ?.

Just spent three nights at The Premier Inn in South Queensferry, Edinburgh. The hotel side is excellent with exceptionally high standards of housekeeping. Front desk staff are a credit to your company being helpful, professional and extremely pleasant ( as are the housekeeping personnel ). The problems appear with the adjoining restaurant. For convenience I took the meal deal. Dinner was awful. It tasted like it looked. The food seemed as if it had been thrown on to the plate. There was nothing fresh or appetizing about it. Staff were hit and miss. One member of staff was later sitting at the bar, still in uniform, drinking a bottle of wine with her husband! Not very professional. On the other hand breakfast was considerably better. In conclusion it's a great place to stay but avoid eating there. I have rated my stay three stars due to the dismal food. The hotel deserves five stars and the restaurant only 1. It's a great shame.
