Lovely, friendly practice that my daughters and I have been with for a number of years. The whole team are amazing - from the Dental Nurses; and here I have to mention Leigh, Karen & Rhona who have managed to keep me calm during various procedures :-) to Fiona - my long suffering hygienist who is absolutely lovely. Also a special mention for Dr do Rego - the girls think you are the best dentist EVER. And that is a huge compliment from teenagers.
Had emergency appointment yesterday with Lubino Do Redo and Karen, for tooth extraction. I informed them I was extremely nervous about the procedure and was made to feel much calmer. I feel that the staff went over and above the call of duty, ensuring I was comfortable at every stage, the follow up phone call shiws just how much concern for their patients they have....Thanks very much.
My daughter has a baby tooth been sinking, which needs to be removed. She was deferred to Edinburgh dental hospital but the dentist there could not remove the tooth successfully even using gas and air as my daughter too upset to calm her down. My daughter was given really good care by Dr. Drews and his assistant in Bupa Dental Care. She trusted him and felt relaxed and calm. The sinking tooth was taken out successfully. Only one thing was that she was given 4 times injections (2 and half tubs in total), which I believe cause her a lot pain afterwards. My daughter had a temperature at the night and she still feels sore a couple of days later.
